Currently we have more than 250 IT professionals on board, working across different technologies as Windows, UNIX, Oracle, MSSQL, z/OS, AS/400, Lotus notes, Messaging, Storage, Backup, etc.\n\nCurrently we are looking for Windows Support Engineers to work on-site with our customer Hewlett-Packard, providing remote server and application support to HP customers all over the world.\nThe job purpose is to minimize the amount of unplanned downtime in the customer\'s production environment.\n\n\nRequirements:\n\nTechnical skills:\n\n∙ Deep knowledge in Windows Server, especially Windows Server 2003 and 2008\n∙ File Services under Microsoft (create shares, administrate user rights, DFS, DFS-R )\n∙ Active Directory (administration of group policies)\n∙ Networking TCP/IP, Network services DNS, WINS, CIFS\n∙ Scripting know how (Batch, Microsoft Visual Basic Scripting, Windows scripting host) would be appreciated\n∙ Backup /restore and disaster recovery concepts\n∙ Monitoring tools experience\n∙ Security solutions\n\nSoft Skills:\n\n∙ Availability to integrate into complex projects\n∙ Experience in independent project work\n∙ High competence in troubleshooting and bug fixing\n∙ Very good collaborative ability /very good team player skills\n\nLanguage skills:\n\n∙ English language skills\n∙ German language skills would be an advantage\n\nOur offer:\n\n∙ A generous remuneration package\n∙ Training and development\n∙ A friendly, fun environment\n∙ Career development opportunities
