Currently we have more than 250 IT professionals on board, working across different technologies as Windows, UNIX, Oracle, MSSQL, z/OS, AS/400, Lotus notes, Messaging, Storage, Backup, etc.\n\nCurrently we are looking for Windows/UNIX support engineers to be trained into various data backup and restore tools and become BACKUP AND RECOVERY ENGINEERS, providing remote server and application support to HP customers. The job purpose is to minimize the amount of unplanned downtime in the customer\'s production environment.\n\nMain responsibilities:\n\n• Backup system administration and engineering for enterprise-class infrastructure. \n• Maintaining internal/external customer backup systems. \n• Monitor environments and react to any and all significant alerts, incidents or outages within required time frames and/or contracted service levels. \n• Maintain backup environments for multiple customers and internal systems.\n\nRequirements:\n\n• Good Knowledge of Windows/UNIX server platforms.\n• Knowledge of TCP/IP, DHCP and DNS technologies is a plus. \n• Knowledge of SQL and Oracle is a plus.\n• Knowledge MS Exchange 2003 is a plus.\n• Excellent client interaction and customer service skills. \n• Fluent English.\n• Must be a self-motivator and fast learner.\n\nOur intensive training program will cover:\n\n- HP Data Protector\n- Symantec Backup Exec\n- Symantec Net Backup\n- Bright Stor\n- HP EVS\n- HP LTT \n- EMC Legato Networker\n- Tivoli Storage Manager\n\nAll applications will be treated in strict confidentiality.
