Area
The development department Knowledge Management and Collaboration (KMC) creates a core component of the SAP NetWeaver®. The department implements and delivers capabilities like (Web) Content Management, search and classification, people and team collaboration. The focus of the team also includes developing interfaces and frameworks as part of Knowledge Management and Collaboration solution.

Responsibilities
• Work on development projects in a team of 3-7 people
• Take part in the whole development life-cycle with specification, design, implementation, testing and customer support
• Apply new development methodologies for agile development (SixSigma, SCRUM, etc.)
• Design, develop, and test new software applications using state-of-the-art and proven Web UI technologies (XML, XSLT, Servlet/JSP, HTML, DHTML, CSS, JavaScript, AJAX) and SAP UI Frameworks.
• Investigate new technologies
• Work in one of the following areas of:
o People collaboration implementing requirements for Social Networks and other Web 2.0 paradigms
o Web Content Management Tools and integration
• Be responsible for fixes and improvements in components that have been delivered to customers based on their feedback

Requirements
• University degree in Computer Science or equivalent
• 2 or more years of development experience in Java projects, preferably with (Web) UI flavor
• Proficiency in web design concepts – interaction design, visual design, usability, accessibility and with solid understanding of Web infrastructure
• Profound knowledge in Web technologies – XML family (XML,XSLT, XPath, etc.), DHTML, JavaScript, CSS, AJAX, Java Servlet/JSP, GWT.
• Solid Java and OOP knowledge.
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to perform strategies and concepts
• Good communication and presentation skills
• Proactive problem-solving attitude
• Open-minded person, willing to learn and develop
• Fluent English language
• Knowledge in the area of Content Management and Collaborative Solutions will be considered an advantage
• Experience with any of the following will also be considered an advantage:
o Other object-oriented programming languages, Experience in agile development methods like SCRUM, Web Protocols (HTTP, WebDAV), Database programming, Client-server technologies, Web services, Operating Systems (Windows, Unix/Linux), German language.
