Despark Ltd. Is a New Media Design & Development studio with offices in Sofia, Varna & London. The work that we do in the studio is split between our own projects (8 of us are currently working on a revolutionary large scale shopping website built entirely on flash/flex) as well as projects for a range of International corporations, local firms and celebrities.

We are a diverse team of 13 people with different interests, talents and experiences and are looking for new members to join our tightly-knit community.

What we are looking for

We are looking for an ambitious, passionate and talented PHP Programmer to join our team at the Varna Office.

We are looking for candidates who:
• Have a strong knowledge of Object-Oriented PHP4.x/5.x (Minimum 1-2 years). Experience with the Symfony framework is a plus.
• Have a strong knowledge of MySQL 4.x/5.x
• Have a strong knowledge of Javascript
• Have a good understanding of XHTML
• Have strong communication skills
• Have a working knowledge of English or the will to learn
• Enjoy and support working in a team environment
• Are able to take responsibility for their work, schedule and deadlines.

What you will be doing at Despark:

• Analysing and translating business requirements and specifications of a project into innovative and usable web-applications
• Working with the team – programmers & designers –to address issues, problems and challenges
• Testing, debugging and taking responsibility for your code & projects
