Global Delivery - Application Services (GDAS) is part of the HP Services (HPS) organization within the Technology Solutions Group (TSG) business, offering solutions to multi-site and multi-national businesses in various industries. It is a global organization providing development, implementation and support of management information systems to HP global customers, helping them make best use of information technology to create or capitalize on business opportunities.

More specifically, the role will be part of the Supply Network Solutions (SNS) Team in EMEA, within GDAS, responsible for end-to-end delivery of IT business solutions, based mainly on the SAP SCM (Supply Chain Management) platform to our global customers. As an example, we are fully responsible for the development, integration and support of Supply Chain systems for a leading world-wide company in the consumer packaged goods industry.

Job description:

In this customer-facing role, you will help HP customers define, design, develop, implement and support integrated solutions and processes, working hand in hand with other people in HP and in the customer organization. You will work SAP implementation and integration projects in the EMEA region, participating in all stages of the project from requirements analysis to system configuration and design to testing and cutover support. You will receive training as required, both formal in-house training as well as on the job training.
You will also have some responsibilities for the costing, scheduling, planning and tracking, terms and conditions and risk management of the projects throughout their life cycle.
Frequent business travel within the EMEA region could be necessary depending on the project

Job requirements:

- Educational background: university degree (Industrial or Telecomm Engineering, Computer science, Computer Engineering, Physics …) or equivalent experience in IT or relevant business area (logistics or manufacturing industry).
- 2 to 3 years of relevant professional IT background
- Expertise in ERP implementation or integration (ideally SAP modules: e.g., MM, WM, QM, SD, PP....)
- Experience working in projects is preference
- Fluent in conversational, written and technical English is a must
- Very good communication skills: writing, presenting and listening
- Strong analytical skills working in complex IT environments
- Consulting skills - customer service oriented
- Strong interpersonal skills: able to collaborate and work in teams – even in virtual teams with members working together from different locations
- Business process analysis and design of IT solutions
- Ability to grasp information and build new expertise quickly
- Good initiative and follow-up
