Requirements:
- University Degree in Computer Science or equivalent
- At least 2 years of system administration experience in a production UNIX environment
- Sound understanding of system hardware, OS, software architecture and integration
- Solid technical background
- Excellent knowledge of UNIX-like systems - both hardware and software (Linux, HP-UX, AIX, but preferably Solaris)
- Sun servers’ installation, firmware and software patching, configuration, administration, maintenance and backups
- Application software (Oracle, Java), installation, configuration and maintenance
- Experience with UNIX, Sun Cluster, Solaris 10, ZFS file system, flash installs, SAN infrastructure (specifically EMC), High Availability solutions, clustering, Veritas HA solutions, Oracle databases and HA features
- Very good spoken and written English
- Experience with ITIL, CMMI, agile development and SCRUM methodologies is considered a plus
